the news is out

Whelp, the NEWS is out there now. And it's GREAT news ... but oh, so bittersweet.

I guess that means no more Spargel Appreciation Day for me! ... Unless, of course, you guys at the 'Ville still want it ... or maybe I can come up with an even better stunt this time around ... we'll see. Let me know.

I can't wait to tell you all the story of our relationship ... ugh! it's been soooo hard this past week only leaving subtle (or not so subtle) hints.

For instance, I walked into my fave coffee shop last week and Sam, the barista, took one look at me and said ... "You wanna talk about it?"

Michael ... is stellar (never used that word before in my life ... but a close friend used it in regards to his girlfriend and i though i'd give it a go ... seems fitting)! He has shown me great leadership and humbleness of heart.

I think we're quite a match, he and I.

Ooo ... I can't wait to tell you more!

Christine, you did well (and he is a very blessed guy to have you too!). Just to commend him to you, Mike is one of the better fellows I know...

"Land of Understatement", indeed. I believe Mike called me "Pooh-head" once when we first began chatting.

Pooh-head is a big compliment, he must reaaaaaly like you. ;)

Mike's a sweet boy, very gentle and caring, although he can get distracted, ( I told him off for not listening to me the other day) he can certaintly take being told he messed up with humility, and gentleness.

Plus he is extremely generous with compliments.

He is a very good friend to me and Luke, he cares for us so much, and tells us so regularly.

By the way, he is much cuter than in that photo.

does this mean you're going to stop writing? The last good writer who got involved with a guy stopped writing and the blogging world has been worse for it ever since. Just thought I should ask.

ckjolly said...

If anything I think Mike would be more inspiration (a muse, if you will) to write.

Great news Christine.....although I might have already known and guessed....it's still great news.

Ooohh... not bad. (And Australians tend to have one of the world's sexiest accents, too.) Congratulations!

tee hee, Cat. That's actually what kept me from talking to him. I was afraid of his voice ... knowing full well that I had control over my emotions up until that point ... but should I hear his voice ... that would be it ... it was all over for me.

But I discovered that it was over before I even heard his voice. Once we talked and the first words came over the computer speakers ... It was the most natural sound on earth. Of course that was Mike's voice ... who's else could it be? it always had been.

But you're right ... it IS sexy.

;)

So, I'm glad I fell for him before we actually talked ... otherwise ... he could throw in my face ... "You only want me for my accent!"

Just think - none of this would have happened without AW Pink.

Is there anything the man can't do..?

I did not see this coming - but I dont live in close proximity to you or know you well enough to have seen it coming. :)

Regardless, I am more than excited for you! Really! It was fun to connect to his blog, and read a bit about his excitement to be dating you. :)

Yay! Okay, so if time allows - please share your story! I would love to know more. Love it.

lol! Kelli ... looking at the list of commentors ... none of them live withing close proximity to me.

Mike and I are going to work something up to let you guys know about our story.
