Washington, it's just like home

Watch out I may decide to stay.

So ... I had an opportunity to check my blog at the convention office yesterday.

Really ... cage fighting?

Who would have thought that my blog would ever become the environment for such a discussion!

I hope to give you a minimum of a weekly update.

the lamas say, hi.

Where are you in Washington? Isn't the Pacific Northwest one of the most beautiful places on earth? By the way, I found your blog through Donna's, to answer your question on a previous post. You remind me of my sister sometimes, she's particularly tall for Asian (there goes another answer for another previous post of yours). Anyway, I'm home (Vancouver, BC) for the summer, thoroughly enjoying the weather and the outdoors life. Enjoy your summer at the Northwest.

Home - although I firmly believe in the cliche: "Home is where the heart is" ... i spent most of my life in Germany.

Where are you from?

That depends. Where I currently live? Where I previously lived? Where I lived most of my life? ...

Ah, but there are mountains and GREEN ... and it's just beautiful.

Sajini - i'm not sure that i have plans for July 4 yet. What are you up to?

Jennifer - the Puget Sound area.

Ruth - I'm hoping to get on the church computer tomorrow afternoon to work on the blog a bit. patience, my dear.

I'm going to a "One step closer to seeing Jesus" Sunday School class picnic this afternoon.

Just so you know, Vermont is the "Green Mountain State" and our State University bears the same name -but, in Latin

I'm a descendent of Ethan Allen, leader of the Vermont Green Mountain Men.

I happen to know they were known as the Green Mountain Boys. When he stormed Fort Ticonderoga, he demanded the British surrender in the name of, "God Almighty and the Continental Congress." We may never know if he had the authority of the former, but certainly did not have the authority of the latter.
