modest swimwear update

Are you a woman who desires to enjoy the warmth of summer and a cool swim at the pool and hanging out with the guys?

Do you feel uncomfortable in modern swimwear because otherwise you would NEVER flit around in your underwear in public?

Have you looked online for modest swimwear but have only found something like this?

Looking for something modest but trendy or sporty?

Well, have I found the swimwear for you!

I purchased these at a sports clothing store here in Washington.

I'll have to post a picture of me wearing my new suit after I get back from Kid's Camp.

Ha, maybe i'll get a call from Sports Illustrated to be their next swimsuit model centerfold!

I still reckon you should have gone for the siuts in the first link... rrrrrrrr

yeah, it would make it difficult for all those guys who feel a calling to go to the beach and evangelize the bikini wearing babes.

sorry.

you may need to re-evaluate your calling ...

Land's End has some pretty nice swim suits too.

"there's bein admired an there's bein' lusted after an the two ain't the same."

phew! I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks there's a distinction. I was begining to think I was making that all up to rationalize what might in fact be a sin of appreciation.

I just figured if you can warmly appreciate a sunset's beauty, why is a woman's neccesarily different? Does such an admiration always HAVE to lead to lust? Could be. I can understand that it OFTEN does. That's why some churches forbid dancing too, I guess.

all things in moderation, Paul.

alcohol in and of itself is not evil but overindulgence is.

food is not evil, but glutony is a sin.

dancing is not evil but ... sensual dancing between a man and woman who are not married ... well, that's just inappropriate.

To dress provacatively, revealing a woman's nakedness ... a stumbling block to our brothers.

hey Marian ... i haven't been able to make it up there yet. I'm in Olympia.

Actually, I'll be in Marysville on Saturday at the Strawberry Festival!

Modest??

Why would you then want to post a picture of yourself in this "swimwear" on your blog and then go on to say maybe you could be in Sports Illustrated?

i know ... ironic, isn't it.

Ironic indeed!

I just recived a swimsuit I ordered from Lands End today, and it's very modest. The bottom is called a swim skirt. It's a regular bottom with a skirt sewn over it so that no butt cheeks are ever exposed! There are many different tankini style tops to mix and match.

Looked at Land's End -- lots of things there that wouldn't make me feel like hanging my head in shame (shame over being overexposed OR over being a serious fashion crime, that is). There's something called a bandeau swim dress that was quite cute, plus it has the most important thing of all -- underwire! (Now, if only Target would carry similar things so they'd be cheaper and available to try on... can't have it all, huh?)

Chickblogicus Germanicus, is it possible you are ignorant of the utterly pornographic nature of the SI swimsuit issue?

ckjolly said...

good question.

or ... is it possible that I was joking?

or better yet ... is it possible that us modest, trendy females could start a new fashion trend that sweeps across the nation, replacing all desire in women to wear nothing but their underwear in public, on the beach? As a result, Sports Illustrated's centerfold will feature beautiful modest women?

you're right ... i was joking.

Here is a site that is very similar to the one above. I am a swim wear analysis and think this site fills the void as does this site for people looking out for their good health and saving men and boys from bad thoughts. Thanks Please visit this site:

i'm actually a surfer so boardies are a must in the closet but i don't always wear them some of the time ill just wear a full swimsuit and that's it. but if you're still uncomfortable with a one piece boardies are the way to go.

Cheers,
