links to me

Mike and I are attempting to come up with a proper name for his link to my blog.

I'm not a particularly enthusiastic fan of his present link title:

The Chrisian Feminazi

It's meant to be ironic.

I suggested Smashingly Witty International Woman.

He thought it was a bit too over the top.

But his next option wasn't any better ... 6 ft. Man-Eater?!!

I don't eat red meat that often.

(Do people really think of me that way?!! ... or is that just irony ... because I really do *try* to be pleasant and encouraging ... I may lack tolerance here and there ... but ... [fading off])

Well, perhaps you can help us.

Here's what others have used as their link title:

Christine is Green

Christine the Tall Girl

Christine is probably famous

My second choice was Lilting Lady of Laughter from a Place Near Lueneburg.

In my defence it's meant to be ironic... all suggestions will be given due consideration.

We Americans do not believe in irony.

I used to have you linked as "Christine, an amusing friend of my nephew's"...but I changed it when I decided you had a very serious side too. (Which is good. Everyone needs to have a balance)

-It's Not Easy Being Green
-YO HO HO Green Giant
-Puellaviridis Borealis
-Chickblogicus Borealis
-She who is Always Toppling Motopolitico From the Top Slot of SBTSblogs.net

How about "Christine, Highly Respected"?

see ... i'm thinking that "put-downs" down under is actually a sign of "affection." however, could titles of grandeur be taken otherwise? perhaps making too much of one's self ... leaving one deserving to be taken down a peg or two.

Perhaps something in between. Like ...

It's called the "tall poppy syndrome" here.

Yes, ironically (?!) if you are teased, given silly names, etc, you are more likely to know know that people care about you down here...

Mind you, we also have our sentimental moments.

Christine, crusader for christian truth?

I was a little confident here... I had changed the link a long time ago. I just had to sit and wait for you to protest. Hooked ;) Love you
