The women's wish list thing is rather difficult, though I did already know the lying thing which is one solid reason I try to be honest at all times. I have difficulty even typing I was wrong and I'm sorry. I'm glad you are working hard tonight to better relationships everywhere.
Oh to answer the question the lists had some great observations, fairly enlightening, but it seems to give women too many things to use as excuses and leave room for no flexability with all the "get over it" "get used to it" etc.
# 2- true #6- true but we need to get over that, boys don't get hints. I think they, like us, would rather be told straight up #10- why don't we just answer the 1st time??!! it's a curse!
i should have posted this here the first time, you should erase the duplicate, and this opening line.
I had to make this post before others (that will remain nameless) might make it. For something similar to this but with more of a Christian perspective listen to: Love and Respect, by Emerson Eggerichs. Evidently they have a website (not sure what is on it), you may find the same information there, www.loveandrespect.com. It is a series on what guys and girls are thinking. It's geared towards "marrieds" or "to be marrieds", but it is very useful in helping you understand whats going on in "their" mind. It really has changed the way i treat girls, and just helped me to be mindful of their feelings. Even if you don't agree with everything (it is sort of generic, bordering stereotyping) you will get something from it.
I agree. Dr. Eggerich has written a book titled "Love & Respect." The subtitle is "The Love She Most Desires and the Respect He Desperately Needs."
Excellent.
Women are commanded, Scripturally, to respect their husbands. Why? Because this is against their nature. Love comes easily to them, however. The opposite, according to Eggerich is true for men. They are commanded to LOVE their wives.
Should a wife respect her husband, Eggerich argues that a man would in turn love her. If her husband loves her, she will respect him. It's the Love/Respect cycle.
Yes thats the one, audio books have me spoiled......And if what you mentioned doesn't happen, me don't love: then women don't respect, thats the "Crazy Cycle"
not one to be lumped in with everyone else, i enjoy being different: i laugh when i ought to cry, i run off the sides of mountains, i can't answer the question 'where are you from?', i told my husband i loved him before i met him, and i'm a woman who is doing her part to reverse the negative trends of extreme feminism. i seek to encourage my brothers-in-Christ, and discuss ways in which women can do the same.
