i can't believe ...

that my boyfriend withheld the vital information from me that Hobart, Tasmania, is the home of a Cadbury Chocolate Factory!!!

warning: contact with me may be sporadic. my iBook is sick and is being looked after by kind computer doctors. the symptoms don't look so good ... they're talking about conducting a hard-drive transplant. sob!

The chocolate factory is sooo anit-climatical that all Tasmanians forget that it even exists here. Sorry to puddleglum you on this Stine.

It just so happens that my workmate's husband is a manager at Cadburys down here. She makes some of their finer offerings into very nice cakes, biscuits etc. The other week, she brought in samples of a new chocolate, which hadn't been released yet.

Are you aware that Cadbury's chocolate in the US is very different to that found in Australia?

It the US it is just Hershey's repackaged.

I can't stand Hershey's. No where near sweet enough.

Are you being ironic Rodeo? Because I find Hershey's sickly sickly sweet. But then again, I only eat 85% cocoa or sugar-free.

And Hannah, I think you might be a chocolate snob. ;) Good on ya.

The Hershey's stuff I ate was disgusting. I think it was lack of sweetness, maybe I'm wrong.

rodeo: you mean Cadbury's is cocoa-flavored wax (i.e. Hershey's)?!! sob! i suppose very few chocolates can live up to the sensuous sensations of European dark chocolate.

I like the dark stuff too. It's topss my friend Heidi ( who in u.s by birth and spent fair whack of time there, loves Aus cadbury. She likes that its very milky, creamy and sweet.

I'm more of a lindt fan, I love the sugar free stuff that shiloh bought.

SO you're the one who ate my sugar free stuff?!

I hope your i-book gets better. It would be a shame to lose such a nice piece of enginering.

Yes, such a nice piece of "engineering".
