- not one to be lumped in with everyone else, i enjoy being different: i laugh when i ought to cry, i run off the sides of mountains, i can't answer the question 'where are you from?', i told my husband i loved him before i met him, and i'm a woman who is doing her part to reverse the negative trends of extreme feminism. i seek to encourage my brothers-in-Christ, and discuss ways in which women can do the same.

Did you make that, Christine? Is it a painting? photograph?
It's a photograph of a painting I whipped up last weekend as a bit of self-indulging creativity. I wanted to experiment in different tectures and techniques. The canvas was ... big! I'm glad it has a good home now. but i wanted others to be able to see it, too. Not that it's fab or anything ... just something new.
Thanks for sharing your painting with us. It looks like it took a while to do. I like it.
I dig it. I'm big on patterns and simplicity.
while yer on this topic... what the heck is going on with the photo/painting/thing that is the main image on your blog?
is that you (or someone else?) sitting on a stool in front of one of your paintings whilst holding a photo of you standing in front of starry night?
